New Plan Needed

Being a mom. Wow, now that's a challenge. Being a working mom - well, then the challenge just sort of doubles (triples?!).

I am a physician, as well as a first time mom. I have a beautiful 4 month old daughter, and for the past four months she has been the center of my tiny universe... well, all that is about to change. My maternity leave ends in 3 weeks, and already I miss her. But that's not all. If I haven't been able to keep up with housework up until now, how am I ever going to do it after going back to my usual 40 (50?! 60?!) hour work week? And still have time for her...?! Not to mention for my loving partner...!

Truth is, I love my family more than anything. I also love my job quite a lot. But housework? Not so much... So I tend to procrastinate a little LOT when it comes to scrubbing floors and dusting furniture. Up until now that wasn't such a problem - neither I nor my boyfriend are what can be considered "neat freaks". So what if there's a little dust in our house? Never killed anyone! But the thing is, in a few month's time our little girl is going to start crawling around the house, searching for whatever little thing she can grab to put in her mouth and (God forbid) even swallow!

So... I need a plan! I've always been fond of plans. From high school up 'till I finished med school I would make yearly plans, monthly plans, daily plans, hourly plans (...) so I could keep up with what I was supposed to learn. Hey.... it worked! :))

So, I'm in need of a plan. Not any plan, no. This plan shall be grand! It will be the "All Time Impossible Plan For a Clean House For a Person Who Hates to Clean, Doesn't Have Time to Clean, and Doesn't Want to Clean". Impossible - probably.... BUT. IT. MUST. BE. DONE.

Period.
